My Thoughts:

13 to Life is an amazing start to possibly one of the best werewolf series ever! Shannon Delany's writting is outstanding!
Althought I couldn't help to shake the feeling of Deja Vu off, 13 to Life is a story filled with re-thinkable friendships, well kept secrets and the infamous highschool romance.

Jessica Gillmansen's life couldn't get any more complicated after the death of her mother but then she meets the extremely handsome yet irritating new boy in town, Pietr. With his mysterious aurora, girls seem to be falling at his feet, but not Jessica. Even when Pietr seems to have an interest in her, Jessie's mind is still set on her long-time crush Derek. But the more time she spends with Pietr the more she begins to like him and become interested in learning about his past. And secrets.

I must say my high expectations were certainly met after reading this book. Shannon Delany grabs the readers attention with her intriging characters and interesting plot. 13 to Life mainly focuses on Jessica's background and friends and ends with the big revelation of werewolves and leaves the feeling that many other mysteries are to come. I was really left wondering about Jessie's crush Derek, somethings going on with that boy! Overall it was a very delightful new spin on werewolves.
Having a MAJOR cliff-hanging endig, and I mean major, 13 to Life left me cravig for the next book in the series which comes out February 2011!

Sorry for the lack of updates!!

Hey guys, I am so sorry for my lack of updates! I live by Houston and there has been terrible weather due to Hurricane Alex. So my sister's power has been on and off. Grr! I love the rain but not THIS kind of rain. But I am happy to say I will be returning home tomorrow so be expecting reviews for Claire de Lune and 13 to Life!
And since it's been raining almost all week, I've been able to catch up on alot of reading! :) perfect weather to read huh?
So again, sorry for the unexpected lack of updates. Hopefully this hurricane will pass soon., but starting tommorrow I'll be back to my frequent updating routine.
